My 2nd Shake Shack visit was just as good as the first, minus the weird rudeness of the Stanford Shopping Center location. I tried the double shack burger, the shack stack, and what was essentially a double shack burger with bacon. The bacon one was, surprisingly, my least favorite. I don't know why, but I really don't like bacon on Shake Shack's burgers. Normally I love bacon, and bacon cheeseburgers are amazing. But for some reason it just doesn't work on these. I also tried the pickles, which I ended up removing. I normally don't like pickles, and I didn't hear either. Oh well. The regular shack burger was, as last time, so good. It was awesome. The crispiness of the patty, the melty cheese, oh and ordered onions! Unlike bacon, that was a plus. Since this place only does kiosk ordering I had the chance to customize the burgers, which is how I found out there even were onions to be had. In my previous visit I ordered at the counter and nobody told me onions were an option. That leaves the shack stack, which is a double shack burger with one of the beef patties substituted with a deep fried mushroom that's stuffed with cheese. Hahaha. I wouldn't believe it if I didn't try it. To be honest, I did kind of like the shack stack more than the shack burger, which is saying something because I really liked the shack burger. The crispy mushroom and extra cheese takes the burger to another level, and it was not too much. I'd definitely get this again. Obviously they take credit cards here, but parking is a little tricky since it's Valley Fair and the parking can be hard. It's nice they give you 2 hours free parking in the structure, but if you're going to be shopping a while it will cost you. The best place to park is by Bloomingdale's, FYI.
Dude!!! What 's goin ' on???? As a loyal SS customer, I 'm sooooooo disappointed in you folks! Shame on you! Two times in a row I got a cold . My go to order is the 'Shroom Burger and it 's so cold the cheese is congealed. No Bueno! Please, please, please make improvements ASAP. This is unacceptable. How can the Shake Shack Kiosk at the JFK Airport do better than a proper venue at Valley Fair?
We all know the food is amazing, but the staff at this location is very lackluster. It 's so chaotic each time I 've been and they always just seem like they 're severely understaffed. Several times I 've gone it 's like a dumpster fire, yet one employee is always casually strolling around to each table like everything 's hunky dory and passes out surveys with a QR code! Last time there was trash all throughout the restaurant and messy tables, but they were just walking on by to pass out those surveys. Also last time I went their texting system wasn 't working, but we had no idea until we went up asking where our food was (after 30 mins of waiting inside) and they 're like oh yeah, our texting thing is broken .... so I 'm not sure why an employee wasn 't calling out orders? There were a bunch of orders at the counter just sitting there. Love their food, but don 't go very often because it 's always a stressful event!
This place has your normal milkshake and a variety of burgers. We had the mushroom burger and the chicken. bacon sandwich option w a side of fries. There really wasn't anything special with the sandwiches, it was just convenient. The fries were sooooo salty. Not much else to say here.
