Hyatt Regency Santa Clara

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The staff is incredible and the location is ideal, with plenty of dining options nearby. The breakfast offerings are perfect, including eggs, bagels, and waffles. The team truly goes above and beyond to assist their guests. It's conveniently located near Levi’s Stadium and the rooms are clean and affordable. It’s a quiet, kid-friendly place that offers great value. The rooms are not only comfortable but also spotless, and it's very close to San Jose Airport. Highly recommended!

The rooms, service, and food options are all excellent. However, the location seems a bit isolated since there aren't many dining or entertainment options within walking distance. It can also get quite crowded during events at Levi's Stadium, so that's something to consider. Overall, everything else is fantastic. Rooms: 5/5

The linens were dirty, and there were water leaks that led to the water being turned off. We were overcharged $60 for parking and billed for water that we didn't even consume (there wasn't any water provided in the room). Additionally, the room rate was significantly inflated because of a nearby concert.

I am a bit conflicted with this. The stay itself was fine, however, the reservation/check-in process was so bad that it left a bad taste in my mouth throughout the rest of the trip. I attempted to book the hotel past midnight around 12:15 AM) so 16-Jul-2023) Sunday night/Monday day. The online system did not allow me to book for that day as I could not select the day after it had passed . Exhausted from my trip, I decided to call the hotel to sort this out. The first individual I spoke to said that they couldn 't check me in until 4 am because they are changing their system to the next day or something along those liens. When I stated that I was coming from the airport and looking for a place tonight, he had me speak to his colleague or supervisor who basically said that the only way they would be able to give me a room is if i booked for the next day, and they wouldn 't be able to check me in until 3 pm in the afternoon saying Sir, today is Monday, not Sunday.. You can 't come in . This was possibly the most ridiculous conversation I have ever had. I am willing to buy, and you are willing to sell, but your system can 't do something as simple as book a room/check someone in after midnight???? I decided to hang up as I could not handle any more of this ridiculous incompetency and was able to book with the instructions of the general Hyatt Support. When I came in, I told the reception whom I spoke to on the phone about how I was able to make the reservation despite him telling me it 's impossible. At this point I expected an apology and some sort of compensation and the employee just awkwardly grinned. If I wasn 't too tired from my trip, I would have probably just went somewhere else.

Dear Hyatt staffThanks front desk and housekeeping.Unlike other big hotels, Hyatt was most hygienic; even in our crowded bridge tournament. Wonderful and helpful staff Stephania Jannelle in particular!!!?Loved how spacious the rooms and the common area were. The entrance to the rooms were very thoughtfully spacious. Other places, u have to huddle in. I casually went to the top floor by mistake very grand view of the beautiful San Jose Hills. Location is great! ?. Lots of diverse eating places near by. Decor of common areas and the rooms very appealing! Laudable efforts for recycling; they use paper cups not ugly one use plastic cups. All toiletries are in planet friendly refillable bottles. They are tastefully and properly placed in the bathroom. Toilet flush very water conserving !?. Carpets are clean and not smelly. I came for a bridge tournament (tho also a Hilton member) I got a great rate.Now what I didn’t like. The restaurant stinks no good food especially for vegetarians . Spent $50 for one entree and one appetizer and one soda !!! Yes I am willing to pay for the ambiance; but I can’t pay to eat food that tastes like plastic. It was horrid. The room coffee is good. But no proper creamer. One measly packet !!! . They have a Pete’s coffee bar that charges the earth !!!Wonderful gym 24 hours I believe. I heard that the pool and hot tub is also lovely. I forgot my swim suit. Though I was so busy enjoying my bridge tournament!!!!!All I’m all good place except, no breakfast on the house, except for the expensive Pete’s coffee bar. If you have a car it’s ok you can go out and eat. Next door is Hilton cheaper and with breakfast included. Please switch to paper straws. Every drop of water adds to the ocean. Please save our earth!!!Thank you Hyatt Noteworthy details: Good rooms. Spacious. Updated. Good shower stalls. Good amenities. Classy stands, hangers, curtains, shades. Smell fresh. Clean carpets. Good charging ports. Comfortable beds and pillows. Pleasant house keeping staff. Fresh smelling towels. Nice design. Walls were lovely. We need more lights. One recycle bin per room and many on the floor.
