I enjoyed the smokey ttla; there was a super delicious and tasteful vegan garlic aioli on it. I have not tried the pizza at this particular place, but pizza from all the means of life has actually been quite good in the regular and they can veganize each of them, although it will wait a bit. Generally, eating is really delicious and cheap for a filling vegan meal, as well as fast and easy if they don't wait for a pizza.
I love this little wf. it is a sweet, sleek little location, but the selection is pretty good. it is food-dress area is quite small, and has no options like Burritos/Sandwiches/Asian Ironery, etc. but overall it has a great choice for the size! I have enjoyed shopping here for years and as always have they tons of great vegan options! the later on the day (closes) they go, the worse the service becomes. to the point where a girl rolled her eyes on me because I asked her for an extra bag to bag my frozen foods to double so that they would not tear. many people here give amazing customer service, and I have no complaining at all in the rule!
There were so many choices for vegans, I know some people are unhappy as its not veg/ vegan only, but I think they should be rewarded for so much choice. delicious salad, vegan pizza, vegan donuts. a whole part of the hot vegan meals and then the huge food selection. in Australia we have nothing like the rich. the prices are not too bad for what they get.
Like any other whole food, it is an overpriced and somewhat greenwashed affair, with too much shiny and not enough bios and, ironically, too much processed (i.e. not entirely) food. but there are good things to find when you read labels carefully.
As q whole foods lover I've found it disappointing that this is what we have in Santa Barbara. The selections are slim. The deli food is the same thing over and over completely lacking in creativity. The only positive is the grocery department is willing to bring in new things if you take the time to show them what you want.
