(4.13.24) Was just looking for a booth with a bit of space so that I could sit comfortably. I asked for that exactly and I originally got a no problem . There were 5 tables open but the only ones we were offered unfortunately were the 2 tiny ones in the middle of the main room that faced other people. It was just two of us but there was no way many more people were coming in at that point since it was right at 9pm. The woman who greeted us just pointed at one of the small tables and walked off before fully seating us. Then I watched as she walked to the back, talked to a guy with longer hair, and saw him shake his head and look right at us. Granted it was later in the night, so I understand they probably wanted to go home. But TeeOff always serves till at least 930 on a Saturday and there was still at least 30 people in the restaurant otherwise we wouldn 't have even even tried. When I pointed at the other three open 4 person tables, I was told no, sorry, nothing I can do. I said I 'm sorry, I just need something better for my back. She didn 't budge. She said sorry there was nothing she could do. ?They were obviously happy for us to leave. So we left. Not cool but better than sticking around. If you don 't want people coming for dinner right at 9, change your hours. Don 't be like this. I was just after somewhere comfortable and TeeOff was first to mind. This certainly ruined that. And it is extremely frustrating since it 's right after I had to convince my wife to give it one more try tonight.Ive had a less that ideal experience the last two times we went but this was even worse. Totally different to the attitude they used to have.Won 't be back for a bit.Never want to ruin it for others but tbh, idk that I could recommend it anymore either. The food quality has gone down, prices up, and the service has not been great for some time. But this took the cake.Good luck.
Wow! Don’t be put off by the uninviting front entrance and the opaque windows. GO EAT THERE!Once you enter, you will find yourself in an elegant restaurant.I had the prime rib. It’s one of the few places I have found that actually serves it on the bone. For $54 I was served much too large for one person portion. I asked for an end cut and boy was it crisped to perfection. It was the best prime rib I have had in a very long time.It comes with a salad and two sides. The Caesar salad was almost a full meal in itself. I wanted the mud pie for dessert but was much too full to order it. I have to get there just for that. And I must not forget to mention the large single malt selection that they have including a very nice selection of 18 year olds. Prices were very reasonable especially since they were three ounce pours.Definitely going to return as soon as I can.
Old style restaurant and lounge. It will definitely take you back in time ?
Have been going to the Tee Off for over 50 years. Has always been great until tonight. My husband ordered Halibut and I ordered Scampi in Butter and Garlic. The Halibut was dry and flavorless. He didn't eat it. The Scampi came in some sort of vegetable sauce that had no hint of garlic whatsoever. Also, the Garlic Mashed potatoes had no hint of garlic as well. We WILL be back because normally the food is excellent. My recommendation is to stick to the Steak or Prime Rib since it seems that Seafood is Not their Forte.
Very disappointing. Steak was lackluster and the fried chicken was bland. Restaurant is certainly dated. Not worth the money.
