Sam's To Go - Santa Barbara

By far the best sandwiches in town. I've been going to Sam's for a while now and this is a long overdue review. Their sandwiches are amazingly fresh and delicious. They have locally baked bread delivered everyday. Their ingredients are all cut in-house, none of that pre-packaged stuff . It's had the same family owners for the past 30 years so you know they're doing it right. For recommendations my favorites are #15 which is turkey, cheese, and their freshly made avocado. #27 is that but with their delicious bacon. Their pastrami is amazing too if you're in the mood for a hot sandwich. Definitely recommended for a healthy, filling and delicious meal. Keep up the good work Sam's!

I've been going to this place for 20 years and it's still the same people who work there. And it was consistent all the time. 27 turkey avocado bacon cheese is my way. Bread is always so fresh and soft.

Great sandwiches. Way better than Subway and less expensive. Sandwiches are bigger and not generic. Staff is very nice. They will even give you meat scraps for the doggies. You won't be disappointed.

Great old school deli in a little strip mall. The owner has been in business for over 25 years. Inside is dated but the sandwiches are fantastic! Soft bread and high quality meats. My favorite is the #22 roast beef with avocado. Sodas, chips, beer. They have a couple of booths and sports on the TV. Take the sandwiches to a local park or the beach! Now is a great time to get it to go! Support your local business ?

Good sandwiches at a reasonable price. Family owned and operated for 30 years. Arash is very personable and outgoing, makes you feel welcome. His wife is very friendly and sweet. I?ve been coming here for 20 years and I suggest you try it out, you won?t be disappointed.
