Omakase - San Jose del Monte

Ordered the seafood bento, salmon and mackarel set, and the dynamite roll. The seafood bento was really good! It definitely felt like love was put into cooking and preparing the seafood! As for the mackarel in the salmon and mackarel set, it was extremely dry and really disappointing. For the dynamite roll, it was okay. Not the best but I was hungry and I was ready to eat it. But before they served me the plate, I saw a small ant on the side of the plate and the server tried to hide it from me. I'm pretty disappointed with this branch.

Omakase is my go-to place for Japanese food + the branch at Greenhills is my fave out of all the branches! FOOD:  10/10 - Their menu is extensive. They serve all your favorite Japanese dishes! - The dish is always so deliciously made. It's tasty with zero hints of artificial flavoring. You can also tell they use fresh ingredients. Their food is never too oily, never bland, and never disappointing. Their dishes are so homey as if cooked straight of a home in Japan. - Serving is just right. Most dishes are enough to serve 2! - Pricing is just right. It isn't as expensive but it isn't cheap either. You definitely get your money's worth, though! AMBIANCE: 10/10 - Place is located at the Parking building so you're far away from the busy mall scene. - Lighting is quite dim at night but I think it works well for the setting. - The place allows for wide seating due to their multiple tables and seats! My niece requested Japanese for dinner so Omakase it is! I tried their Gyudon and it was okay. The beef was soft and tender and the rice had a generous amount of serving. My niece ordered a cup of fried rice to go with her food. Got a taste of it and it was yummy. I guess she knows what to order in Omakase more than I do. Haha.

Officially my favorite japanese restaurant in Greenhills. Dishes are very satisfying, sushis are to die for. Aaand, we loved the dim lights!
