El Halal Amigos - San Jose

This guy blocked me in instagram because I asked about his stance on Israel and Palestinian conflict. He's a complete coward all he cares about is his profits. Your donations are a tax right off it means nothing as far as Muslim oppression help.

El Halal amigos is an excellent place to get Mexican Food in Willow Glen. I like that you just dont order tacos and go on your way. You can order an actual dish with rice and beans. I usually get AND recommend the verde enchiladas. I always get Verde Enchiladas and theirs is one of my faves. I really like how they also incorporate culture into the ambiance of the restaurant with the decorations. The servers are always very kind. They also are always in a cheerful mood even when its super busy (iv been here more than a few times). If I could give ten stars I would. We bring anyone from out of town here for a bite as well. Grandparents, siblings, did I mention we really like this place? One more thing. GET THE HORCHA

We went for Taco Tuesday $2 chicken tacos that were flavorful and great value. They also have $3 horchata which was also delicious, a little on the sweeter side. The place was cute with adequate seating and staff were very friendly. Great for happy hour type gatherings! Would definitely come back :

Worst $17 quesadilla I've ever had, the barbacoa brisket was greasy and flavorless. My daughter got the chicken quesadilla and it tasted VERY fishy!! Like the fry oil was fish flavored. I def won't go back.

Menu at the restaurant says $2 tacos in Tuesdays. What a deal. Got me in the door. Then at the cash register they say. Oh sorry we don't have that deal anymore and cost me $22 for 3 tacos. Change the menu or honor the deal.
