El Grullo - San Jose

Came for lunch on a Tuesday. Amicable staff, decent flow of customers, great ambience with music low enough inside you don't have to yell across the table. Enchiladas were fried with cheese and chicken legs on the side, was interesting way to serve enchiladas but the chicken was moist and flavor was good. Clean establishment with fairly limited parking in the front. This is a cash only business with an atm inside.

Love how I ordered 4 plain tacos, and added the salsa. They aren't greedy with the meat.

Yummy mexican food, we’ve been going here more than 100times

This is hands down one of the best Mexican restaurants in San Jose. The atmosphere is so warm and inviting, and the service is friendly and fast. A lot of places usually get my orders wrong when I order burritos, because I make modifications and omit things, but they made my order with 100% accuracy, and it was DELICIOUS. I got the breakfast burrito, and my boyfriend got the barbacoa plate. We were given red sauce to put on our food, and it was out of this world: beautiful tomato taste with subtle heat. My eggs were cooked perfectly, and the tortillas they use are warm, soft, and heavenly. Their portions are HUGE, too! I highly recommend.

Decor is beautiful and food is good however service needs work and the traffic is ridiculous! Really horrible traffic
