The drinks were delicious, perfect boba, and really good food (not just snacks)!Drinks:Taro Milk Tea w/ Honey BobaStrawberry Mojito w/ Honey Boba (non alcoholic) although it would probably still taste great with alcohol.Food:Popcorn Chicken add seasoning and it's perfect.Steak Kimchi Bowl decent, but not something I'd crave.Braised Pork Belly Bowl my favorite! imagine Thit KhoKimchi Cheese Fries amazing.Honey Garlic Wings good, but borderline too saucy. We didn't order it, but I heard the Garlic Noodles are a MUST get.
Really cute location! The food was alright, I ordered the Steak Kimchi Bowl, but a lot of my rice was mushy. I think I got the last of a batch of rice or something. The steak was good though! Ordered peach soda with rainbow jelly and that was tasty though.Their mobile kiosk bugged out on me at first and erased my order the first time I tried to order, but the cashier confirmed it didn't go through and I didn't get charged. Ended up ordering directly with the cashier instead since the kiosk was being buggy. The atmosphere of the location is great, it's really cute because it's inside of a house. There's a crane machine inside of the restaurant with some cute plushies as rewards.Would definitely recommend at least trying this place! My friend got three popcorn chicken and that looked tasty.
The atmosphere and vibes were good for a downtown SJ boba cafe. The service took awhile for the order including the drinks. It was a Wednesday night, so not so busy, actually we were the only customers. But, for a party of 2, we stayed patient. When we finally received our order, we were anxious and ready to dig in! To our dismay, the taste lacked heavily in the fries and rice bowl. The temperature of our food was lukewarm, which was alarming since we had waited more than 20 minutes for our food. Because we were hungry, we ate it anyway. But it was just not tasty, not even the french fries. Quite a disappointment since there was a high rating on Google. As a big foodie, tried many different boba cafes in San Jose and greater Santa Clara county, it was below average compared to what's out there in San Jose.Atmosphere 8.5/10Service 7/10Food 5//10Overall, I just wouldn't come back
Super fast and convenient. It's literally a block away from the SJSU campus. I got the kimchi fries with stake and it hit the spot. It was not spicy at all and the fries were fresh and crispy. The service was great, they have a kiosk to take orders which gave me a lot of time to decided what I wanted to get. The ambiance of the location was nice, I love the outside patio seating.
I love me a good strawberry smoothie and boba bar has a good strawberry smoothie!! Creamy, fruity, refreshing, and delicious. I thought 75% was the perfect sweetness. My only recommendation would be for the smoothie to be slightly thicker. I also tried their strawberry milk tea with strawberry chunks. Also yum! The tea flavor really shines through and the strawberry notes helped to bring extra flavor. The service was swift on a Monday evening, and the inside is small and cozy, a great place to chat it up with a friend or two. I would definitely come back to try other drinks!
