Arteagas Food Center - San Jose

I recently ordered 2 breakfast burritos with chorizo from a restaurant on doordash. The menu stated that they would come with egg, potatoes, and cheese. However, when the order arrived, I was disappointed to find that both burritos were packed with nothing but chorizo. It was just meat and tortillas, which I found unappetizing. I ended up having to open up the burritos, cook my own potatoes and eggs, and remake them into proper breakfast burritos.

The staff at this restaurant are welcoming and I look forward to getting to know each of them and trying their food. I stopped in for coffee early one morning and was pleased with the coffee quality as well as the fact that they opened early.

I found ordering online to be very straightforward and simple. I chose to order the taco tray #2, which included 24 tacos for $60, with carne and al pastor. I appreciated receiving automated emails that kept me informed about the status of my order. When I received my tacos, they were neatly packaged with limes and two containers of salsa. While I found the taco meats to be a bit salty, they were still tasty. I am thrilled to have discovered this restaurant, as it makes hosting potlucks and parties much more convenient!

Carnitas, Chorizo, Pollo, mix and they were very delicious! the little store is super cute and very Mexican. I love this little store and will be coming back for tacos and some other nice stuff they have there. Good new store!

Their aisles can be somewhat of a hassle to get through at times, they are very close together and house quite a bit of products for customers. The selection of items at this location isn't as diverse as their Willow Glen location, but they sill manage to offer plenty of quality goods for prices that always beat larger chains like Safeway. I always enjoy the produce selection here, they always move enough of it that they are able to keep a steady supply of fresh fruits and veggies on their display shelves.
