Casey’s - Ridgecrest

Terrible! keep trying, no more. since the movement it is very difficult to get decent food. the waitress was rude, asked and then waited not to answer. Bus boys were really just working there. cook didn't show up the last couple of times. Tri-Tip was cold and tasted (and saw) as it looked all night. burger was well cooked (two times on the same day) salat was devastated, tomaten soggy and a strange color, even the ranch tasted. even the BBQ sauces cannot depend! after one week for five weeks, no more. there are better places. even the tables are not worth it! (remote do not always fit to tw)

Not worth it. This place is so hyped up, and yet the food is at the very best average to below average. The service was almost down right rude. The waitress telling us that we needed to hurry up and order. She spent roughly T-minus 30 secs total at our table while spending a majority of her time at a table with what appeared to be her best friends. We ended up ordering the Tri-Tip because everyone in town kept saying it was the best thing since sliced bread. It was hardly that to say the least... 8/10 on 6/26/11, Sunday 3 of us had lunch at Casey BBQ in ridgecrest for the first time. It's located about 7 miles from the freeway near the entrance to the navel station. As one of the other reviews said ask to be seated in a booth seat near the parking lot rather than sitting in the back by the bar (larger groups and noisier). In addition the booths have free direct tv at each booth (9/10). I ordered the pull pork nachos and both sauces $9. The order is huge and good but the nacho cheese make the chips soggy so I would ask for the nacho cheese on the side (8/10). Addtional chips are free (10/10). This place rocks!! The food was great and the service was stellar. Highly recommend the pulled pork nachos!
