Mon Reve - Ridgecrest

Really great food. It is expensive for Ridgecrest, but not for what you get. I was worried it would be trying too hard to be fine dining, but it isn't. It's just great food and great service. Nothing overly pretentious.

I was en route to Bishop from irvine for fall foliage . We wanted to have a decent lunch and looked up and found this place. What a surprise! Food was as as good as top French restaurant in Irvine. French onion soup was one of best I have tried. The chef is a French and is from Normandi. It's worth visit if you're neay by.

Love the fact that the place is convenient, the staff was great and the food was amazing. During our meal the owner came out and said hello. Top Notch.

Amazing food and staff! The owner was very attentive to making sure we were happy throughout the meal and chatted with us a few times. Had the onion soup and the filet mignon and both were perfection
