3hrs of small plate delights! Amazing food, ambiance and service. Highly recommend!

Such a fun evening! Great atmosphere and music playing while we ate. Service was very friendly. The food awesome each bite a different kind of delicious. Scallops, short rib, pork cutlet, Smith's sausage, super tasty cheese arrangement, and warm cider donut for dessert. Oh, and cocktails that are hard to resist. Thank you for a great meal in Portland!

We had an outstanding meal and drinks at Sur Lie. Every dish we ordered was better than the last, but our favorite was the Broiled Spanish Octopus. We sat at the bar and enjoyed the atmosphere and food thoroughly. The care and thought put into these dishes certainly came through. We live in MA and only come to ME a couple of times a year. We will come back here for sure. It was a fantastic experience in every way!

Consistently one of the best restaurants in town. I come back here again and again- usually to the bar or bar tables for interesting cocktails and lots of amazing and creative small plates. The cheese selections are delicious. The brussel sprouts are a favorite, with lardons, marcona almonds and some magic red spicy sauce. The watercress pasta and octopus were also wonderful last night. It's an interesting and well executed menu, at a very reasonable price point. The are incredibly flexible with allergies and dietary restrictions- which is much appreciated as I know they put careful thought into every menu item, but they are always willing to work with you to find the best dishes to adjust to fit the customer.

Food was average. Nothing to complain about. Nothing to get excited about either. Flavors were rather muted. The beer on tap selection was excellent..
