Other Side Delicatessen - Portland

I've been enjoying corned beef my entire life and have tasted some fantastic versions in NYC, Boston, and other cities. However, the corned beef at Other Side Deli is, without a doubt, the best I've ever had. WOW!!! Thank you, Other Side. Keep up the amazing work!

I've been visiting this place since they first opened, and I can honestly say that not a single sandwich has let me down. They consistently offer fantastic options for take-home meals, ranging from ribs to ravioli. All the meat is cut fresh to order for each sandwich. Yesterday, I ordered a shaved steak grinder with a few toppings and it came on a soft roll—delicious! The cheeseburger, fried chicken, and pastrami sandwiches are incredible as well. The staff is friendly, the food selection is fresh, and the take-home meals are a great convenience. I would, and have, recommended this spot to anyone. It’s a must-stop if you’re in Portland. Great job, everyone!

My boyfriend and I have visited this restaurant three times, and each time the food has been fantastic. He particularly loves the corned beef sandwich, while I always go for the hot pastrami. On our most recent visit, we also tried the pork belly banh mi, and I can’t describe how delicious it was! We highly recommend this place!

The beer selection here is fantastic, and they offer a variety of delicious local snacks and desserts. The deli counter is so enticing that it makes me momentarily wish I weren't a vegetarian. A special tip for vegetarians: they have an off-menu Roasted Veggie Italian sandwich served on an amazing brioche roll. You won't regret trying it!

Last week, my boyfriend and I tried this restaurant for the first time at the West End location. We both ordered the shaved steak grinder, and we absolutely loved every bite! In my opinion, it's the best shaved steak sandwich in Portland. Be sure to get it with peppers, onions, and vinegar. We can't wait to return!
