Anania's Variety - Portland

My sister always picks up the family breakfast from here during the holidays when we get together. Their breakfast selection is great and everything always tastes fresh.

BEST DIRTY BREAKFAST SANDWICH IN OUTER PORTLAND. The food ain't pretty, but there's plenty of it, it's real tasty and cheap. Check out this place the next time you're hung-over.

Even though this place appears to be a convenience store there are a lot of great surprises: like awesome fresh fruit salad, GREAT macaroni salad, and breakfast top of the line sandwiches. NO ONE makes sausage, peppers and egg sandwiches around here like they do in New York City. But Anania 's does. A nice treat. The bad part is that you 're in line with a lot of riff raff, but oh well, that 's what makes this city so colorful!
