Kousushi - PORTICI

I rate sushi places primarily on fish quality. The selection for all-you-can-eat lunch was very very limited, basically only salmon and tuna with a couple other options for nigiri. This is somewhat typical of southern Italy for lunch menus in sushi places, however, and I happen to be primarily a salmon lover, and the quality of their salmon was quite good. Not exceptional, but very good for a lunchtime offering south of Napoli. What brought their score up from a 4 star to 5 was the service and speed and overall value for what they charged: we had a full meal of nigiri, maki, sashimi, soups and noodles and onigiri and salads, walked out for €42 for two people in less than an hour without feeling rushed (except for our own schedules and work), staff was pleasant and accommodating despite all the rules in place, and everything was quite good. That's *awesome* for sushi lunch in my experience in this region. Miso soup was a bit flat, could use a bit more seasoning, and I would appreciate more options for the AYCE menu, but overall that was a great lunch for the money, definitely recommended if you're in Portici and want good sushi lunch!

Small premise: I had h of time, so the time in my experience is fundamental. on the service nothing to say, all courteous and cute. some trouble with the wait, there is a total asynchronomy among the guys who prepare the sushi out and the internal kitchen that deals with the hot dishes. I managed to do in total order every one can be maximum of dishes and I ate the hot dishes of the first order after the arrival of all the dishes I ordered. I find a little annoying the cooldown of min between an order and the other but it can be there, another slightly strange limit is the sashimi .. a portion of three slices is a little under the average also of the area. small note of demerit to the experience with the tablet, presented many articles without photos, others still present but not neat according to the waitress maybe there was no availability. the problem is that the menu is not very vast, missing the gyoza to the plate I could not choose replacements. note of merit instead to the prawns in sweet, very good!

Well-kept location, great food, qualified staff and caring thanks we will return again.

Cute local with a good choice of dishes also in formula all you can eat. the quality was a bit swinging, but I have to say that all the dishes were still good and not insapori. friendly and helpful staff.
