The Lighthouse - Pirnmill

This restaurant offers a very comfortable atmosphere and is conveniently situated on a main street. We had a pleasant dinner experience, thanks to the friendly and efficient service provided by the two women managing the dining room. The food was outstanding; it featured a simple concept, but everything was well-prepared, reminiscent of a home-cooked meal. I ordered the slow-baked beef, while others at my table enjoyed lamb, salmon, and cod—all of which were delicious. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking hearty, comforting food.

We just arrived in Arran and were looking for a nice place to eat. We managed to get reservations at this restaurant, and we have nothing but positive things to say. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the view is absolutely stunning! Our meals were fantastic! We plan on staying longer next time we're in Scotland, and we will definitely come back to say hello and enjoy some bread at the lighthouse!

Our group of seven enjoyed a delightful dinner while watching the sunset over the sea. I had the local pheasant stuffed with haggis, accompanied by a fantastic peppery whisky sauce. The restaurant is unlicensed, so they allow you to bring your own drinks. The service was excellent, and the prices were reasonable. Highly recommended!

Amazing fish and chips, no clue what the other reviewers were talking about. Best fish I've had on the island. Great view over the ocean, very friendly staff and great vibe.
