Potato Palace - Palmer

Definitely the best food at the fair! We tried the chicken bacon ranch and the heart attack, and we enjoyed every single bite! There's nothing quite like a tasty baked potato packed with goodies on a chilly September day.

My favorite place at the State Fair! I’m going to miss it this year, but I highly recommend adding the Potato Palace to your list of must-visit spots at the Alaska State Fair!

I've been getting a potato from the potato stand at the fair every year since I was around 12, and it's still one of my favorites! The food is delicious, and the staff is always cheerful. Make sure to stop by the log cabin; you won't regret it!

Experienced the Ice Maze today at the Alaska State Fairgrounds and it was tons of fun! It was impressive how much work it needed to create this! We enjoyed the lights and the music in the ice. This is a great family activity and it is worth going safely. It is unfortunately expensive for large families, adults 13$ and children 10$ and you get it fast, but it is definitely worth it!

Very nice fair. I've been to many fairs and this one has more unique items than I have ever seen. The people are friendly. Food prices are not super inflated, a bit, but not much. A lot of outdoor shopping but great things inside as well. My amazing purchase was the Global Frequency bracelet. It really took my pain away. They give free samples to try it first and there was no pressure, unlike other places there, and it was nice.
