Dex?s Depot Chicago Pizza Billiards

I don't know how anyone can like the food here, it's uninspired, tasteless and in a case (breakfast). Like others, I wanted to like this place because a new local cuisine is always a good thing, but were disappointed every time. Oh, and the guy who thinks these reviews are still left...no hint that the person ate the food or something, I could say the same about the positive reviews. This is the stupidest statement I've read for a long time!

My friend and I tried Dex three times, and we really want to like it. Unfortunately, we were disappointed every time. The food is very hit or miss like the service. There is usually a person in our family who is happy with their meal, and others who find it almost unusable. We have come twice for specials advertised on Facebook to find out that the special has not happened. The staff is very nice, but also very slow. I hope they can pull it together and get a certain consistency in their food and service, but we are unlikely to be back.

The first time here and the interior is authentic and very comfortable. We have a new waitress. Asked for sweet tea that is on the menu, so I think it is already sweet NOPE I was told there are sweeteners on the table. My Ruben bread was so cheeky as if it waited for other foods to be finished. I have a positive her sweet potato fries are amazing. I'll be back, but I hope I get real southern sweet tea.

I want to give Dex's depot five stars. I enjoyed all the dishes I ate. The atmosphere is great, I love the train. Great for kids. This is a new establishment/restaurant and so far BONUS. Always room for improvement and they know it and work harder than they have already worked. Dex's Depot is a great place to relax and enjoy the view. Can't wait until spring sit on the deck. Palmer Lake is a small community and I have not seen any other restaurant show so much community / family participation. I invite you to come to Dex's Depot, although this is not mine.... please go and enjoy.

I have had multiple different things here and I am never disappointed. Today was the hobo basket. Lots if pieces of chicken, more than an appetizer! Perfectly cooked. And the fried pickles! Not little discs like at other places, these were deep fried spears! Amazing!
