The Malt Shoppe - Pagosa Springs

We've enjoyed having at least one meal here every time we visit Pagosa Springs . . . which spans several years now. Burgers are great. Service is friendly. Serving of soft serve ice cream is VERY generous.

Whether the inside is open or not, between how friendly and fast the people are, the quality of the food, and the price, this place is a 100% YOU ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO STOP HERE TO GET FOOD. PERIOD. Seriously, whether it's your first trip in Pagosa or you're a regular visitor like me, make sure to stop by and get a burger, sandwich, chicken strips, or even breakfast; and be sure to get you a malt or a shake too. The Malt Shoppe truly gives you that classic diner/soda fountain taste and feel that's so few and far between these days.

We absolutely love this place! Just be prepared for a bit of a wait to order and receive your food, but trust me, it's worth it. We visit this restaurant every time we go to Pagosa Springs for vacation—it’s a must-try! And make sure you save room for dessert because they're enormous!
