The Backyard At Pagosa Springs

The ambiance is fantastic, the food is delicious, and the service is friendly! There's a fun outdoor space as well. Prices are very reasonable, especially with the new management in place. I highly recommend it! You can get two pork chops for just $10!

Big beer brews, great pizza. The staff is quick and friendly. We stop there every time we drive the Pagosa Springs!

Absolutely terrible service. I went in to order five sandwiches and was informed it would take 30 minutes as the staff had nothing to do at the moment, which I was fine with. However, after 45 minutes, they told me they were out of burgers and offered to substitute a steak sandwich instead. That took another 15 minutes. I specifically requested it to be cooked medium, but what I received was a steak that was nearly raw. When I checked on the food, both burgers were cold, the fries were cold, and there were no condiments available for the burgers, despite what was listed on the menu. I will never return to this place. Now, I have to microwave the steak just to ensure it’s actually cooked through.

Poor service overall. My little brother and I went to the restaurant for garlic knots and wings. We arrived at 7:15, but our server didn’t introduce herself and it took at least 15 minutes for our drinks to arrive. We didn’t receive our garlic knots until 8:00, and they were tiny and burnt. Our wings didn’t come out until after 8:30, even though we ordered them at the same time as the knots. I get that places can get busy, but after working in the restaurant industry for three years, I found this level of service unacceptable. My little brother actually fell asleep while we were waiting, and eventually, I had to go get our wings myself. The server never checked on us; I had to flag her down just to get the check. While the food was good, the wait simply isn’t worth it. I probably won’t be returning.

Under New Management thanks for leaving Austin, Texas too open up here!!! So so enjoyed the green chillies stew in a bread bowl was AWESOME ? The Best Ever!!! Awesome cold ? beer... Best waitress in all Colorado ?
