I wish the staff were a bit friendlier. Be sure to check their website before placing your order to see if there are any deals available. Otherwise, you might end up paying full price without any promotions. We were aware of a two-topping pizza deal for under $10, but when we ordered, the person answering the phone was not very friendly and charged us the regular price for our two-topping ham and pineapple pizza. It seems that the staff may not be fully informed about the promotions listed on the website, so make sure to mention when you’re ordering a promotional deal. Aside from that, the pizza itself was delicious.
I ordered a chicken bacon sub and it was really disappointing. When I opened it, half the cheese was stuck to the wrapper, and the bread was so hard it was like a crouton. The bacon was overly fatty and rubbery, and there was barely any chicken in the sandwich. After the owner's response, I found that tellmaros.com is just a link to a survey that doesn’t work. Your customer service is a joke.
I experienced this on multiple occasions. Once, we drove to the store and asked if we could order a pizza. They hesitantly agreed, but while they were making it, the phone kept ringing without anyone answering. On another occasion, we tried calling again and, when no one picked up, we drove to the storefront around 10 PM on a Saturday. When we asked to place an order, the employees told us no, despite the fact that their operating hours indicate they should be open until 12 AM. They even turned off the "Marcos Pizza" sign outside, even though they were still technically "open." If they are short-staffed and need to change their hours, they should at least communicate that to their customers. Otherwise, it gives the impression that they are poorly managed, incompetent, and lazy. The pizza may be good, but the management is unprofessional. What's happening at this place? Do they want to run a business or just close it down?
I received an incorrect order for the second time from this location. We threw an entire pizza away because it was not close to what we ordered. When I called, they offered to refund my money, yet that never happened. This makes twice that they?ve taken my money for food not received. The portion of my order that was correct wasn?t all that good. It seems quality has declined severely over the past couple of years. I used to be a fan, but I won?t be returning.
