Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Chattanooga

Love these smoothies. The amazing employees always have a smile on their face and treat you like their best friends. Always a nice stop for a nice refreshing drink.

I would like to give a shoutout to the girl Tropical smooth Cafe in Chattanooga, TN. It is just off of Interstate 75 Shallowford Road down towards Gunbarrel Road in in strip mall two your left passed Mellow Mushroom Pizza. I had forgotten to eat breakfast this morning in my rushing around and was getting alittle hungry. So I was looking for something lite but quick to recharge as I was driving to a meeting. I did a quick search of what is in the area and found this gem. (Excellent choice I might add) I drove in the parking lot to have pouring rain coming down but I made a mad dash to the front door. As I walked in shaking my head from the raindrops my eyes lite up to warm bright lighting with very colorful appetizing looking pictures of smoothes, pictures and food options. I was warmly welcomed by this cute girl pictured I don't know her name but she made my experience special at this location. She insisted I have the best peanut paradise smoothie with chickpeas for protein. I was pretty surprised that I had three protein powder options to choose from at this location/business. They are Whey, Soy, and Chickpea. Who knew that businesses are looking for more healthy food options like this. After scanning the menu and asking questions I decided to try the peanut butter

Delicious full-flavored smoothies and food. I love trying new smoothie flavors each visit.

I would like to go back and try more items on their menu. The Magic Mango smoothie was very refreshing in the Southern humidity.

Ordered a mango smoothie, added spinach, they turned the smoothie into a dark green monstrosity of a drink. Doesn’t taste like fruit, doesn’t taste like spinach, it’s some weird hybrid that just tastes horrible. Here’s a tip, if someone orders a mango smoothie, even if they request spinach, it should still taste something like mango, you know, THE FLAVOR I ORDERED! Biggest waste of money, even in this inflation economy it’s a crazy rip off. Threw away about $20 worth of gross smoothies. Done with this place, commercial retail space available soon!Update: They sent a gift card so I could try it again. They are actually learning from their customers. Awesome response to a customer who had a horrible experience, hopefully it was a one off.
