9/23 EDIT: while we have always loved andes, Highway 55, this past year their food has just been bad. We have actually stopped eating here for the time being not really sure what 's going on it seems like they 're hiring a lot of young people with nobody managing the place. Every time we 've been in there it 's like a party 's going on but nobody 's looking at the food that they 're making. It has been extremely inconsistent, oversalted, and just bad. I hate leaving negative reviews for my local places but whoever owns Andy 's, Highway 55 needs to step in and figure out what 's going on. We used to eat here a couple times a month at least and haven 't been back in 2 months. PREVIOUS:We have been coming to Andy 's , Highway 55 for many years. This is our favorite burger place even over Five Guys burgers. Their burgers are always juicy, hot, fresh, and piled high with whatever you want. They also have homemade Frozen custard. If you don 't know what that is you have to stop by and get some. It is the best stuff ever. Rita 's has nothing on this place!! My husband loves that they have tots!! Definitely a family favorite restaurant of ours. The staff is extremely friendly and the cooks are good at their job. It can get quite busy in the summertime but it is worth it. If you don 't want to wait call in your order!!

Was there two weeks ago and food and service were superb; tonight was a different story. Started taking our drink orders at 6:10, then our food orders 10 minutes later. Didn’t get our food until 6:55. Had to ask for refills. Very chaotic in there. Chicken sandwich and burger didn’t come with the fixings; had to send them back to get stuff on them. The chicken in the chicken sandwich was very dry. Very disappointing meal!

Changed orangeade receipe to the point it's orange juice concentrate with a horrible aftertaste. I'll take my business to Island Delights from now on. They make an authentic one and won't compromise taste over profits.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful since it was out first time visiting the chain. The food was good but nothing fancy. The diner serves mainly burgers, fries, and shakes (extra star for malted milkshakes) but there are other options like salads and I believe chicken sandwiches for those who don't want as heavy of a meal.
