Gino's Chicago Beef Hot Dogs - Onalaska

Great place to get a real Chicago hot dog. I appreciate that they use Vienna beef hot dogs and put fresh cut fries right on top of the hot dog.

Lotsa Chicago Bears memorabilia, but I can get past that with the amazing dogs, Italian beefs, and gelato! Fresh cut fries were also good.

It’s been some time since I've found a good hot beef sandwich in this area, but Gino's hit all the right notes. I left feeling full and satisfied.

As a lifelong Chicagoan, I’m always on the hunt for a great beef sandwich and a classic Chicago hot dog. I’ve finally found the spot! We used to frequent Chicago's Beef Etc. and really miss Ed and his family. When we discovered that Mario's downtown had closed, we were bummed. But now, folks, Gino's is here to save the day! They serve everything we love, and it really hit the spot. The young staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. We enjoyed the hot dog special of the day and took a beef sandwich and a gyro back with us. Definitely check them out!

Without a doubt, this is the best gyro in the La Crosse area—nothing else even comes close, in my opinion. I haven't sampled anything else on the menu yet because the gyro is just that delicious, but everything else looks fantastic too. This place is the real deal!
