Red Pines Grill - Onalaska

After spending a couple of weeks, we got to know about this place planned our next dinner here which apparently fell on St Paddy's day! This place has a beautiful view of the lake behind, cozy and comfortable interiors and gooood food at a very affordable price! Three of us were very happy with the food and service! Must Try Walleye Cheeks! Their Chimichanga (chicken) was the entree I tried and boy, I will be back for it again.

Everything was awesome service, food and atmosphere

Only emenu. the web menu is very to use, webmaster has a bad job set it up for phone use. mainly use setup or execution. many older people there and they have no smartphone. really shows how lazy the administration does not have a paper menu. eating over boiled I had a hamburger burned out to crispy charcoal. they wait the employees said they were making the bad answer. I would never order my burger well and would have preferred to have been made new. it would have been nice to see a manager or talk to one. but being in the back room was hard to find our server.

Do not order them from the bar outside. the cocktails there is a generic premix (only adding alcohol.) we came and ordered drinks. bier selection is above average for an evening club. After 20 minutes we heard that the people wait drunk over the terrace for an hour and half. So I went and asked the host and safe enough. no mention of it when we check in. no call to come to the list, so live an hour away, I will never go back because no eating is worth going to an hour, then wait another hour and half.

This place was packed when I arrived, which is a good sign! the fish and chips were delicious. it is unusual to find fish pan so light and tasty roasted. the chips tasted like to home made (nice change.) the waitress was attentive, but not tasty. and the ambiente is great directly at the water! I was pleasantly surprised by everything and would recommend trying for them.
