Best sushi spot in Oakland. Great service and friendly staff. I try new things eveytime I visit

Fantastic service. Delicious sushi. Very reasonable pricing, especially considering the quality. I understand that there is often a wait during dinner; however, I stopped in for lunch and was seated and served immediately. You should definitely make an effort to enjoy their magnificently fresh fish, whenever in the East Bay.

1st time at Mijori and it was pretty good. We came just 20 min before closing time but the waitress was nice to sit us right away. Menu was good with decent selections and varieties. We usually only eat sushi so we jumped right to that part of the menu. Great prices I must say. Staff was friendly and fast. Sushi was good and decently fresh can't say it was out of this world. Between the two of us, we shared: complimentary miso soup which was tasty and heartwarming 3 nigiris of tuna, salmon and saba mackarel). Huge chunks of fish, so far the biggest serving I have seen WHOA! The salmon was a bit fatty tho : 4 rolls: rainbow was good but not great in taste and not the same without the avocado on top), ichiban definitely my favorite due to the eel, excellent), philadelphia the usual expectation) and crazy horse which sadly it was the worst it was supposed to have tuna, salmon and hamachi but it felt like raw meat not fish definitely didn't like this one. large warm sake Would definitely return for the affordability.

Good sushi! I always enjoy my visits here. The toro was especially delicious (on my friend's plate so not pictured here) and the bonito tuna was gorgeous.
