I decided to get my Veggie combo with hot sauce on the side. it has packed quite a lot of warmth, so if she would not like to go on the spicy side in moderation. the veggie combo was full and tasteful. I loved that injera brot it came with. one of my friends who was with us is only to move from the state to the opposite, so was the first time he had Ethiopian food. he loved it. he is not-veg so beside the order of the veggie combo he also ordered the meat sambusa, which is Ethiopian samosa. as it turned out, he was full of the Veggie combo alone, so decided to give the meat sambusa to another table. they were thrilled with his offer. I look forward to return to barcote Ethiopia and would recommend the veggie combo!
Eating is really delicious, especially the vegetarian kombiplatte. the personal is always very nice and friendly. the restaurant understands vegetarian/vegan needs and has a decent size along with good vegetarian appetizers.
Barcote is a very tasty Ethiopian restaurant with many vegan options and large portions. Vegan elements are marked on their menus I have included pictures of their menus for reference. they make pickup delivery very easy (I use grubhub). I go to the vegetarian combo and the shiiro combo. also love buticha here (small portions come in the combo plates). support this Black Own business!
Very authentic and many vegan options. try the buticha as an appetizer and mushroom dumple.
I went to Barcote Ethiopian Restaurant with three other friends recently. We arrived just before 6pm. There wasn't any line. We all got the veggie combo. It was a nice day out so we decided to take advantage of the outdoor seating area. I decided to get my veggie combo with hot sauce on the side. It packed quite a bit of heat so if you don't like to walk on the spicy side would use in moderation. The veggie combo was filling and flavorful. I loved the injera bread it came with. One of my friends who was with us is just moving to the area from out of state so was the first time he had Ethiopian food. He loved it. He is non-veg so besides ordering the veggie combo he also ordered the meat sambusa which is Ethiopian samosa. As it turns out he was full from the veggie combo alone so opted to give the meat sambusa away to another table. They were delighted at his offer. I look forward to returning to Barcote Ethiopian again and would recommend the veggie combo!
