The Bennett - Newcastle

This old-style hotel has changed property and reopened its renovated restaurant this week. Absolutely good food!!! Absolutely amazing food!!! Typical pub style food taken to another level of the highest!!! Then there are the desserts... OMG. Wonderful menu with different value offers every week night, plus a list of seasonal specials to get the taste buds water. The dining area is well lit and presented or you can enjoy your meal in the bar areas or in the courtyard. A fantastic selection of boutique brews available on the tape and the usual fare. It is worth coming back to the Bennett!!!

I enjoy eating lunch here, eating indoors and large covered doors. Good selection on menu, clever way to group different types of food. Good prices, service and food. Kevin

Good atmosphere with a beautiful beer garden. Friendly staff and excellent well valued meals. Well worth a visit and they have excellent lunch specialties.

My husband and I had well hubby still shave over Barramundi and anchovy chips with lemon caper butter sensational. I had boiled the rump to perfection mash creamy and tasty. Make yourself a favor and book a table that you will not be disappointed

Very clean older style building. Lovely food which is a bit out of the norm so a fabulous change to the normal pub food. Very helpful and courteous staff.
