We stumbled upon this location as we strolled through the streets of Manhattan. We decided to stop by for a quick lunch and happy hour drinks before heading out to our scheduled engagement. Very spacious corner pub with your typical English vibes and decor.Food: 5/5

We were here late night. Super friendly staff. Cheeseburger was perfectly good and had a great flavor from the grill. Guinness was pored properly. Fish and chips were solid, batter was great tho the cod was a little fishy for my style. We’ll be back.Food: 5/5

Had a wonderful dinner with a colleague. Split the cheese board and miso mushrooms, with the Craic Marg for each of us. I had the dry aged burger with fries, and he had the Cubano with fries. Perfectly simple perfect food, dining al fresco after studying forensic science all day. White Oak Tavern may never get a Michelin star, but if you want really good food at really good prices next to Washington Square Park, with excellent service to boot, look no further.
