My friend and I were thrilled with everything we ordered. The bitter greens salad was fresh and perfectly dressed; the calamari fritti tender, the octopus perfectly grilled and the baked eggplant delicious. It was a trip to sunny Italia on a blustery NYC winter day. Can't wait to go back!

Same high quality food and service as I Trillist has provided for years, but an accessible, more affordable menu utiliZing small portion. More than tapas, but slightly less than a full entree. Will visit often.

We were in town visiting New York for Christmas and found this place just around the corner for dinner. The waiter was outstanding and worked with us to serve us a great meal. The pizza was amazing!

We chose Sottosuolo for a family mini-reunion. Convenient location, helpful staff, simple menu but very well executed. Italian comfort food in Murray Hill.
