Had a wonder time here to kick off restaurant week. The staff was absolutely amazing and helpful

I have eaten at this and other Sarabeth 's many many times over the years. It 's an old stalwart...not the place where you expect anything exciting. That said, the level of service at this location, on this particular night was lackluster, especially considering the dining room was less than half full. The waiter forgot one of two drink orders. The tomato soup was cold. When it was time to request the check, and i tried to get someone 's attention, after a few attempts to do so discreetly by raising a hand and waving, and then calling in a low voice, i finally had to shout literally shout to be heard. The person who finally responded was either in conversation with another staff person or was listening to something, but definitely was not monitoring the dining room to see whether any customer required attention. I hope this is an anomaly, not the new normal for an old favorite.

Sunday breakfast was quite disappointing. This place has done a very bad job with the food. Manhattan Lower and West are far better. “Green and White” eggs and salmon and egg dishes overwhelmed with fresh cheese. Three pepper potatoes were underwhelming and appeared mass produced elsewhere — and not well boiled (music, not as usual; tiny overboiled pieces of paprika and onions). Muffins on the smaller side.

Terrible. Bad service and moderately poor food. I'm not going back.

Our server was poor. She left for the day and never told us.
