The first word on their kitchen is positive, with an obvious care taken in their dishes. Try this beautiful lamprais, a dish of meat curry over rice baked in a banana leaf wrap. Also of some note is the yogurt drink flavored with wood apple, a fruit in the citrus family found in South and Southeast Asia. We will be cheering for Sagara to do better than its predecessors and become a neighborhood mainstay within Staten Island's Sri Lankan community.
I posted my review while still eating I couldn’t wait. Amazing food and friendly staff
They have lot of Sri Lankan groceries too.Very good place shop at.
Great food. Friendly staff.. definitely recommend!!
The food was really good, and so well-priced. I had the hoppers, and was satisfied with just the pepper-onion chutney as a topping, as opposed to adding a curry (their vegetarian curry option was a thin daal, which doesn't really go). The service was a little slow before we got our meals, but a little too attentive after. Friendly though!
