Rowland's Bar & Grill - New York

Very convenient location to penn station. the bright and airy room was very pleasant, and it was possible to sit in one standing away from other people as we had an early lunch. the waitress was excellent: friendly and helpful. eating is good for pub food. this is the second time that I have been there and I like it especially for the location and the beautiful ambiente and service. (I had both the same waitress.)

If you find yourself near Macy's, Rowland's is always a fantastic choice. They offer an incredible falafel burger and their chocolate cake is simply sublime.

It was a cute restaurant. The hostess was marvelous, however I did find that I had to track down a server if I wanted a refill of my drink or order something. I waited a good 15 minutes before anyone saw me after the hostess sat me. It was a bit disappointing. Two different waiters helped me..... the second much more attentive and ended my experience on a good note.

Just as everywhere in these days the restaurant was underused. the staff was very friendly, aspiring and helpful. we had reservations, but had to wait about 20 minutes for our table. the menu is limited, but eating was good, American bar type eating. it's clean with an A rating. it has several tvs to watch for sport. beautiful, modern furnishings. this restaurant is good for lunch or for a quick bite with friends. I would go back for that.

A lunch in rowland’s during a recent trip to new york. recommend the rollie sliders delicious! the waiting staff was friendly and attentive. I hope to come back one day.
