Pasembur, jawa mee, rojak, assam laksa caught my eyes (if you are from Penang you’d understand), Ordered Rojak, the staff warned me, it has ‘strong fishy taste’ , I was like the stronger the better and I was not disappointed! It has raw cuttlefish and that’s exactly the kind of Rojak I have been searching for! Strongly recommend this restaurant. Came back again during dinner hour and they were packed. Customers were waiting impatiently and rude, but staff remained calm and polite.
The food service was extremely fast, the staffs were friendly and nice. Keep in mind that they only take cash and the ATM machine located at their door has an additional charge fee per transaction. The Haianese Chicke with Rice dish was very delicious. However, the Prawn Mee dish was a little too salty for me. Overall atmosphere was very cozy and nice. Suitable for big parties.
Loved all the dishes here. The morning glory and the curry laksa were my favorite. Cash only.
Year over year tradition to eat here every time we visit NYC. We love the food!
Everything here is good, except maybe for the fact that you can settle your bill only in cash. Whenever my wife and I get a craving for Malaysian and Singaporean food, this is the place we go to in Chinatown.
