La Contenta - New York

Came here for brunch on the weekend, loved it! The food was amazing, drinks were strong good, and the service was great! My only complaint is the outdoor dining smelt like a public restroom. Of course we can?t always control what people do in the LES after hours, but cleaning it before opening can help.

Very cute and cozy date spot in the East Village. They also have a great happy hour and the margarita hits! I love how they decorated the inside. Flowers hanging from the ceiling really gets the mood right on date night. I came with some friends for a few apps and drinks. Love the queso fundido. Make a little wrap for yourself with the side tortillas they give you and throw some salsa on there. So good.

Great place for a casual dinner and delicious tacos. Service was awesome and the chef whipped up some impressively good vegetarian tacos loaded with yummy veggies and made with fresh corn tortillas. Don't miss the crispy fish tacos either!

The waitress is the best waitress I have had the entire week in Manhattan (ask for Karen) We were a group of 10 and booked a table early by phone. The atmosphere is friendly and good. The food was delicious and just spicy enough without being overbearing. I can highly recommend this place!

Cheap drinks. big plates. very solid mexican spot for LES and the price ranges are stellar as well. the salsa they use on the chips i think was the same on chile quiles and it was fire. overall it's pretty standard fare and i would def comeback for brunch. service was a bit slow at times but they're on top of their game and were quick to fix any mistake
