Wine pairing was lovely and diverse, although I would have liked to have seen more Korean drinks in the mix and on the bar menu. There were some minor hicccups in service (dropped utensils, slow start, etc. , but everyone was lovely and friendly the entire meal. Would definitely return!!
No words. Beyond exquisite. Worth every penny. The tasting was magnificent and every dish paired amazing with the Rose champagne.
Update April 2023: If you don’t know, then you need to know. Imagine the best, then top it. Want to feel like a king or queen? Dine here. Without a doubt one of the best restaurants in NYC. The *ultimate* Michelin star experience from start to finish—and I’ve been to almost all. December 2021: It was wonderful from start to finish. We thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas Day dinner. The staff were very attentive. You will feel like the only people in the restaurant. It deserves two Michelin stars. The wine pairing was very generous and the food was filling. The presentation was artistic and creative. We would definitely return. Take someone here if you want to impress them.
It’s been a while since we dined here but forgot to post a review until now. It was overall a good experience. The food was good; not crazy good but enjoyable. My husband did say he was still hungry after eating their 5 course meal, bought a giant slice of pizza minutes after we left this restaurant, and ate it on the way home. Lol
Food was good, but nothing exceptional, unique or exciting. I never tasted anything I hadn't before and a lot of the dishes and pairing were very one note. The wine pairings were mediocre very very small. I'm talking dribbles of wine for $200, wish I has just gotten a bottle instead. Waygu was nice but the rest were dishes I've had before in other Korean spots that didn't have any stars.
