Yea this is really good wholesome flavorful food. The oxtail, they give u a good amount and the rice and beans are plentiful and full of flavor! Its actually such a steal i'm buying this again for sure!!

Not very good. Pernil is dry, rice is goopy and not really like arroz y gandules.

I absolutely love this restaurant! I've been dining here for over 25 years. My husband and I are huge fans of the chicken soup with rice—it's delicious! By the way, the Cuban sandwiches are excellent, and the pernil is fantastic as well. The salads are also great. Enjoy your visit!

What a disappointment! The Roasted Leg of Pork Family Pack Combo is only about half the portion you’d get for a much lower price at Cibao or Castillo de Jagua. Don’t waste your $26 thinking you’ll receive a substantial meal. I was shocked when the delivery driver handed me a regular-sized bag of food. The container of beans is barely enough for one person, certainly not for a family. I am extremely disappointed with the quantity of food in relation to the price.

The pernil is superbly seasoned and juicy, while the yellow rice is both flavorful and fluffy. The beans are delicious as well. The Cuban sandwich is tasty, but it's a bit smaller than most traditional cubanos. Gena's remains one of the best spots for Puerto Rican and Dominican cuisine in downtown.
