I didn't book ahead because I read on OpenTable that reservations weren't reliable. The atmosphere was welcoming and intimate, and both the staff and other customers were friendly. The freshly made pita bread was tasty, the hummus was spot on, and the dessert was fantastic. We plan to return for dinner (BYOB) in the near future!
The Israeli salad was crisp and tasty. The falafel was slightly undercooked in the middle. The service was quick and the staff was welcoming.
I visited this restaurant last year and decided to return again this year. It's a cozy spot with incredibly tasty Druze/Middle Eastern dishes. As vegetarians, we had plenty of delicious options to choose from. I tried the ful madamas plate and we also enjoyed sharing a variety of appetizers and salads.
I like that this place is BYOB and they serve Israeli Druze food, which is otherwise very difficult to find in this country. Order some of their wonderful breads (you can see them in the window).
If Van Gough were Druze he'd have eaten here. Tangy labne, flavorful meat pies, cool minty salads. More authentic than in a Israeli Druze village. Must, MUST leave room for the Osh Al Saraia, grandma's recipe for the best custard you've ever had.
