Freda's Cuisine - New York

One friend, who always looks for cheap eats, had suggested Freda’s Caribbean Soul Cuisine, serving Caribbean and Southern fare on Columbus. She had eaten there with her fam before a Solstice concert at the Cathedral of St John the Divine, suggesting “the oxtail and jerk chicken both which came with yummy sides.”

This was seriously some of the best food I've had in NYC! The staff was friendly and great. Beware: the food is VERY spicy. But it's oh-so-good and definitely worth the pain of spice! : I have absolutely no complaints at all! Will definitely be eating here more often.

Small, easily missed place that has great food. I liked the brown stew chicken best. The staff was friendly and the place felt intimate. I definitely recommend trying it.

Great Food/Great Prices. Found my new spot for lunch and Dinner. Incredibly tasty food. Authentic, properly seasoned entrees at affordable prices. Well maintained (clean) restaurant, friendly personal staff, excellent delivery service. Did I mention excellent tasting dishes? You won't be disappointed!
