Music was obviously provided by staff member’s iPhone and kept cutting in and out. Whoever decided that The Cure‘s greatest hits was an ideal Valentine playlist has completely different music tastes to me but then I am not an Emo Goth. It is obviously popular and is very popular with some of our friends so I guess that we just don’t get it.

Pasta tasting was excellent, all the dishes were top notch. Wine pairing is a poor value.

Branzino was not even star quality. The rest was very good.

Fabulous food. Portions are big. Started with and shared spaghetti bolognese Ordered the steak for and shared between of us. Best steak in NYC. Desert was a winner with the dark chocolate tarte stuffed with caramel and sprinkles of almond brittle. The olive oil cake was good, but didn’t compare. What a way to end a meal. Full but not stuffed. Service was excellent. Very attentive and alert. Will be back and soon.

The choice of music is terrible. The fact that it is loud is not the problem but more the selection of hard rock when dining. Happy Indigestion ! Otherwise the food and wines as well as the service were very good
