I thought I'd try. Food was excellent, got the 2 until lunch special. Rolls could probably be cut into smaller pieces, although this can only be a personal preference. Beautiful portions of fish in any role do not slip here. The price was very reasonable. Not sure why this place is listed. One of the most affordable sushi places I was to. The service was easy, though not terrible. All in all, a very beautiful experience. Will definitely visit again when I'm in town.
Quality in recent years. I love this restaurant, but I love it less in recent years. When it opened the food and service was amazing, but there were several menu and recipe changes over the years and none was for the better. The greatest perpetrator is the Nabeyaki Udon. When they opened it was done in the usual style, but the last time I ordered it, it was mostly broth and noodles. All other ingredients were cut super thin and served very sparingly. The seafood soup was also changed from a fish broth to a cattle broth, so it was very bland. The best point on the menu is the Bento, which is a sampling of all the things they do well and avoids the things they do not. I can only assume that they fight to make a profit, but these changes only make customers want to eat less there.
Beautiful small place with pretty good service. The food was great. If you get mushroom soup, you get to share it or AS your meal. It's big. Sushi was good. We sat in a farm that was all sweetly decorated for Christmas!
Hippy Happy!. My wife and I took our 10 month old to Hana House for an early Saturday evening meal. The restaurant is on Front Street in a historic old building that has lots of exposed brick, gas lighted patios and a very New Orelansy feel. The inside is very nice. Not overly snooty. Very organic. We were greeted and seated within moments. Amber, our waitress was very friendly. Not overbearing. She helped through the menu which includes pages of Sushi rolls and many traditional Japanese entrees. We ordered spring rolls to start. Then beef fried rice for me and Beef Teriyaki for my wife. We also ordered the California Rolls which are stuffed with cucumber, guacamole and crab meat. The spring rolls came quickly along with our salads and miso soup. The spring rolls are petite, crunchy and delicious. The soup hot and savory. The entrees arrived right on time and were outstanding. Our total bill was around 40 bucks. Great deal. Very nice place. Go!
