Cane River Commissary - Natchez

We had a great experience, the waitress was on her game, drink's were delicious, food was fantastic... Must try the duck fried...fried fish was mighty fine as well, we were all (9) of us miserably full, fat and happy ?

The service was pretty slow, but the food more than made up for it! I had the Cajun pasta with sausage, shrimp and chicken, and I truly might say it was the BEST food I have ever had. The environment was fun and inviting, and the building was very cool, especially for being in a more rural area!

Husband had the fish platter, he loves it! I love to steal his fries, their fries are great! I ate the Atchafalaya Special fabulous!!

So very worthy of the 10 minutes drive from I-49 possibly the best hidden gem in louisiana! awesome summer cocktails especially the bourbon peach arnold palmer. a wonderful mini-meat cake appetizer hit the place for a hauch from a local favorite look. then for entrees, we shared a shrimp po-boy, dressed, on gambinos french brot (probably the best in the state) a order of duck-tenders that were phenomenically accompanied with hand-cut fries. with brotpudding on the dessert menu, she had to try it and was not disappointed, a bit of the rich, sweet things was impressive, but too much for me. I also have to mention that our waitress was an extraordinary young lady with a sweet smile and so very helpful. they do not want to miss this great little shade on the ol' cane river!

Great atmosphere and food! Definitely recommend it!
