I have come into this tavern only for a beer drink, but the typical atmosphere has taken me....Very nice design and very nice staff!I have tried flammkuchen and it was very delicious...with a cellar beer only for euro 11.10... see good!!!I will come back for other food tasting. Maybe beetle!
Because we wanted to go into the candied for a long time, we had reserved the table 2 weeks in advance, were then placed to a cat table next to 2 grölden groups, on our demand whether it everl. there is a somewhat calmer table (you could not understand your own word) was told to us that it is locally booked and there is no other possibility. we then rather went past, then the wedd will be quite unprofessional before itself without us ever, one to speak directly, that one has to expect this at Christmas time. to the quality of eating I can of course say nothing here or I will not test it anymore, because once and never again. Then in another well booked local spontaneously got a much better table.
Don't let the dark door or low lights fool you. They are open, except Sunday and Monday. The taverns is in a candlelit (only) basement with helpful waitstaff dressed in tunics. It's discreetly decorated with medieval objects that look authentic. The menu emphasizes Flammkuchen which they do very well and some meat dishes, like venison steak and roast beef and onions. They serve soft drinks, honey and fruit wines (no grape wines), and beer. Their desserts are definitely modern (chocolate lava cake for one) , but no coffee, only tea. We found it a lively, fun place and the Flammkuchen was a nice change of pace from all those pork dishes.
In this medieval tavern you can enjoy delicious food and the met is quite good. for good mood also the friendly skankmaids and knees!
