Two of us shared Bandera (Steak was delicious and looked dry, but it was not at all, and the Chicharrón was physically easier to eat than at other places), mixed tripe goat stew (Goat was super tender) and pupusa beans.
The first time in the restaurant. Wasn't greeted when I came in. The restaurant had only one customer at the time I went. The food was good.
Seriously one of the best meals I ever had! (Muy autentico)
This is one of those hole-in-the-wall sites that just makes great authentic food. Your Pupusa is great and cheap. Their plates are large and tasteful, although a bit higher price, and their horchata is very refreshing. Two of us ate for $25 including tip.
Loved this place! The food was delicious and the ceviche in particular was a standout. Service was reasonably speedy and very friendly. It's not as fancy or showy as the other restaurants in the area, which I think is its own appeal.
