The packaging was sustainable, and the meats and condiments are fresh. The bread, on the other hand I just didn?t like.. it?s the hard bread; which is subjective but just isn?t for me.
Addendum: I received a call from the owner and was made aware the employee wasn?t supposed to charge me for anything, due to it being a store credit based order. The owner, Dan, assured me I?ll be refunded and the situation was rectified. I appreciate the prompt response and great customer service provided to me by the owner. I?ll be ordering from there again in the near future. This place is a joke. I received a store credit, as a result of a mistake they made with a previous order placed, and was given a store credit for another sandwich to be delivered to me free of charge. Once, I utilized the store credit, I was then charged a delivery fee. How is that justifiable? I then raised my issue with that and was told all deliveries are charged a fee, even orders paid for with store credit, including my situation. I?ll never order from them again.
My husband and I had Tony Boys delivered after returning from a long trip in the car. I had the roast beef sub and he had the lumpy chicken sandwich. My husband thought the lumpy was excellent, and even though it's not my thing, the bite I tried was tasty. I was happy with the roast beef, it was rare as promised on the menu. My only complaint was that the sub roll was hard. I attribute that to us placing an order late in the day. As a true sandwich lover, it was disappointing, but I'm definitely open to giving Tony Boys another try. We definitely appreciated the affordable and speedy delivery.
Ordering Tony Boy's delivery has become a weekly staple in my house. I'm not someone who will typically order a salad, but my go-to is the chop chop sandwich with eggplant and Caesar dressing. It's basically a monster Caesar salad with thin, crispy eggplant on a sub roll. And it's incredible. We've tried a few other sammies and eat happily every time. Thank goodness they deliver all the way to Randolph, as there are no decent sub spots left out this way. Don't miss the fries or the vodka sauce, both are great.
Yeah, this place is the real deal. Fantastic turkey sub. Will be returning soon to try a chicken cutlet sandwich.
