We know this caffe for a long time (more than 20 years! . this is an institution in Montreuil-sur-Mer in front of the church. this caffe is real French caffe with random service. they are not always perfect, either fast. that makes this. place so charming. if they have to be served like a royal family, they will not come here. but if they love to hear secretly pleasant entertainment between the owner and regular customers, some sweat, etc. that is the best place to feel real local living. the cafe in france is fully integrated in human life and this cafe is a very good example! oh, their hot chocolate is delicious!

This bar was just across the road from our hotel and was one of the few places open in Montreuil immediately after new year. A friendly welcome from the landlady and locals. A good range of reasonably priced drinks made this a welcome haven in...an otherwise very quiet town
