Mr. Tokyo Japanese - Monroe

My sushi had an odd smoky flavor that reminded me of spam, which was really off-putting, especially since none of my orders included spam. The chicken katsu was very dry, but the accompanying sauce was nice. The clear soup had potential, but they added wonton strips that got soggy by the time I ate it, making it unappealing in terms of texture. The seaweed salad was the highlight; it was fresh, bright, and tossed in a lovely light sesame sauce. I might consider giving this place another chance, but I'll definitely try different dishes.

The food was mediocre and it took a very long time to be served. I accidentally left my receipt and they wrote in their own tip on it. I will definitely not be returning here. I have found a much better all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant that offers superior sushi, doesn’t charge for leftovers, and is more affordable!

Black Pepper Tuna Roll is my absolute favorite! Food is always great and you'll spend less overall time there compared to the Matthew's or Pineville locations.

It was ok The biggest issue was that the beef in our dishes was chewy. Service was attentive and the atmosphere pleasant. It 's on my list of been there, done that restaurants...
