Meningie Hotel Bistro

Anytime we visit Meningie for a short stay & fishing.....we always pop in for a drink & the bottle shop is pretty good too. Friendly staff & locals.

We didn't have much choice of where to eat, the bistro wasn't open so we opted for the bar in the hotel, asked what was on the menu and were told, "Had to get rid of the lamb first" so asked for something else and eventually were offered the pork roast, it was not nice, a pre cooked roast with dreadful gravy, tasteless.

Terrific customer service, positive atmosphere and a really yummy meal. :-) The staff couldn't do enough to assist! A fantastic evening out with the family. Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality! Lake View Cafe.

Stopped in for a quick dinner on the way to robe. Great pork with pepper gravy perfect place to stop for a quick pub yum meal

Decided to drop in for lunch on way back from viewing Coonalpyn Silo Mural and on way back to our Campsite in Coorang National Park. Bistro was quiet and we were the only customers. Usual selection of Pub Grub, two beers on tap, Bottled beers, Wine, Wine by the glass in single serve bottles. Service a bit slow considering we were the only customers however both meals were up to scratch when they arrived. Service staff friendly. Ramp at Bistro front door wheelchair friendly.
