Sunset Ristorante - Máncora

There are not so many good restaurants in Mancora. Therefor the Sunset restaurant stands out as THE perfect place for a romantic, or simply civilised dinner on the fringes of Mancora. Food and setting complement each other in a perfect match. The setting is gorgeous, with a real sea and beach view, the sound of the pounding surf, and some fresh sea breeze. You can also take a dip in the clean swimming pool, a few stairs down. The chef Gian-Luca knows his Italian cuisine like a maestro and offers his guest real treats of his native country. He also is, like his staff, dedicated to make your visit a success, being attentive (but not over) to your needs. You should definitely dedicate one of your evenings at this place!

Visit the sunset because we wanted some italian food. The place looks very beautiful and relaxing. Great music. I have eaten italian everywhere in the world and here it was really good. What i very appreciated was the chef/owner coming to our table to ask about our diner. More stunning was that when we left, the chef/owner did not saw us leaving and we were waiting outside for a taxi, he came for us there to shake our hands and ask how it was. Great respect for the customers, simply amazing. We had a great feeling when we left! Prices are also good!

Surprisingly very well presented and tasty Italian food whih was a welcome change to all the standard ceviche fare

We've stayed at the hotel twice over the years and usually eat in the restaurant once or twice each time. fairly basic menu, mostly pastas, what you expect for a restaurant with occasional clients, but ok for a bite if you're walking past along the beach, and an excellent place for a very quiet meal overlooking the beach if you over the hustle and noise of mancora.

The night before New Year's Eve, 5 friends and I went for dinner. The place was empty. All the dishes were served wrong. The waiters brought the food and said "we don't have what you order so we brought yo this" It passed 1hr and 30 minutes to receive our order and it was a disaster. The owner didn't do a thing to save the night.
